Austin Turns One!

Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to future Ralph Lauren model, Austin.  He is the firstborn of some very good friends of ours and we all hung out at our neighborhood park to snag some photos of this handsome boy.

Fall Photoshoot

My favorite little muse and I got together this week for what’s become an ‘annual’ photo-shoot.  We usually get it done earlier in the summer, but I’m glad we waited until fall this year.  She looks so grown up and for some reason the light is just different this time of year.  Can’t wait to get her together with her parents for some family shots!

I took more than I’m posting, but here are some of my (many) favorites.  Happy Friday!

How devestatingly adorable is she with that top knot?  Or ‘ballerina pony’ as she calls it.

Mom has had this (vintage) dress hanging in Finley’s closet for years and I’ve been dying to get it on her.  She finally fits in it and looked so cute I could hardly stand it.

It’s too bad the girl never smiles.   : )

1 part Hoosier + 1 part Broncos = all parts adorable.

I of course had to capture a few with her trademark cascading curls.  I was losing her (attention) by this point so I only snagged a couple.

I spent the afternoon with Miss Finley on Tuesday and as usual could not resist snapping some photo’s of her in the beautiful late morning light.

Those eyelashes and sweet little nose just kill me.  This was one of the first shoots I’ve done with her where she had a vested interest in the end result.  After nearly every shot she wanted to try a new face and then approve the image.  Maybe I’ll give her the photography bug eventually!  Here were her top choices : )

I think she picked some good ones!  It was a fun day and I’m already looking forward to hanging with her again next week!

The Webb Family

Last week I had the privilege to spend the morning with the Webb family!  Avon and Paxton are three and one and busy busy busy!  I had my work cut out for me keeping them in one place let alone getting them to look at me.  I had to laugh at myself making the silly noises my mom used to make to get our attention as kids.  These are a few of my favorites from the day.
